Well I've just finished watching the season 2 premiere of V and there was some interesting things going on, we get a look at the Visitors true form, an insight into their plans for Earth, the suggestion that Erica's son might be an alien hybrid ( I'm thinking this is a red herring ) but it was the last minute or so of this episode that was truly cool with Jane Badler as Diana.
I've read online that this episode was a ratings disappointment so it looks like this show may not survive past it's second season, I hope that's not the case but I fear the producers won't be able to maintain the momentum that was established in this episode anyway.
V is a show with a lot of potential, hopefully it will at least live up to some of it.

When they cut the order from 13 to 10 I think it pretty much told you what the network thought of the show. It needed/needs to do big numbers or one of the many mid-season pickups will simply take it's slot and that would be a shame. I'm not saying that because V is good, it isn't but it is scifi with ships and aliens and we losing too many.
ReplyDeleteI like the reimagined V, I don't love it but I do like it and I'd like to see it continue but I have a funny feeling we won't be seeing it for too much longer.
ReplyDeleteI've been enjoying seeing Jane Badler as Diana, I'm hoping she takes over the Visitor Fleet and becomes the new big bad.
